The Neighborhood

The famous Chicago planner, Daniel Burnham, considered this community the Gate Way from the West to the Loop. He thus named us the West Loop Gate.

Bounded by the River on the east, Ashland Avenue on the west, the Eisenhower Expressway on the south and Grand Avenue on the north, the West Loop Gate has since become recognized for unique living quarters, including over 6,000 loft and townhomes. It’s most recognized however, as Chicago’s fine dining destination. Since 1983, the most accomplished restaurateurs and chefs have planted their talents in the West Loop Gate community.
